Watch us share insights from our latest research on John Doman Turner in our first ever public presentation with Esther Freud!

What better occasion to unveil this video footage than on Father’s Day? In this recording, my father, James W. Robertson, and I, Stephen Robertson, collaborated to present a talk about the artist John Doman Turner from the Camden Town Group. Our presentation was delivered before the Walberswick Local History Group in May 2017. Notably, we had the privilege of being joined by author Esther Freud during the event. While we might not be experienced public speakers, the endeavor demanded substantial preparation and the overcoming of nerves on the day. Nevertheless, we aspire for this to provide you with meaningful insights.

We wish to extend our sincere appreciation to the Walberswick Local History Group for graciously inviting us and providing us with the platform to share our expertise. This presentation stands as a tribute to Richard Scott, to whom we offer our heartfelt dedication.

If you’re curious, you can find in-depth information about our presentation in the September 2017 edition of the Walberswick Local History Group Newsletter. This issue was released a few months subsequent to our talk.
